Shrewsbury Public Library

Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

This renovation project consisted of expanding the original 1903 Howe Memorial Library with a modern addition that complements the existing historic architecture. This 32,000 SF project was recently completed receiving top honors from Construction Management Association of America's Massachusetts (CMAA) Chapter in the category of “Renovation | Modernization less than $20 million”.

“Fontaine Brothers provided a level of attention, care, and workmanship that I believe is quite unique. I was consistently amazed by the careful oversight of all project details from project start to finish and the dedication to quality workmanship that resulted in a durable and lasting facility. I have often remarked that the Fontaine Brothers approach harkens back to earlier days, when work and business ethics, family reputation, workmanship, and integrity mattered.”
