Who We Are

Fontaine Bros., Inc. is a privately held construction company based in Springfield, Massachusetts. Founded in 1933 by Eudore J. Fontaine and his brother George, the company has since grown to become one of the most trusted and respected builders in New England. Professionalism, integrity, and craftsmanship are synonymous with our name and with our dedication to serving each client's specific needs.

With more than 75 years of history, our firm is now steered by third generation builders David and Chris Fontaine and our team includes many children and grandchildren of past owners and employees. Many of our managers, estimators, office support staff staff and field personnel have been with Fontaine for over 25 years. Our subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and field personnel bring to the table the same kind of long standing relationships with Fontaine. This distinctive group of people brings a unique attitude to the construction process because of the pride that each team member takes in the Fontaine tradition.

Our ability to deliver outstanding results is grounded in our experience as a true builder. This foundation has taught us the importance of a management philosophy centered on cost consciousness and detailed planning in a competitive bid atmosphere. Our ability to self-perform some of the most important aspects of the construction process with the help of trusted and experienced Fontaine trades people gives us the ability to take on any type of construction project.
