Fontaine Awarded New Freeman Centennial School Project in Norfolk, MA

Fontaine Bros. has been awarded the contract to build the new Freeman Centennial School in Norfolk, MA. Designed by Flansburgh Architects, the $23 million project will include the construction of a new 96,000 square foot facility, the demolition of the existing Freeman-Centennial school, and site improvements. The new building will be ready for occupancy for the 2012-2013 school year.

The school is designed to Massachusetts Collaborative for High Performing Schools standards, making it the third "MA-CHPS" school that Fontaine is currently building. Site work will commence over the winter months, with a formal groundbreaking to be scheduled in the early spring.
